Nancy Janoson directs the New Horizons Band of Western Mass and is a musician, retired music educator, and writer. She taught overseas for 25 years, sharing her love of music as a band director and choral instructor. As a performing artist, she has played flutes and saxophones throughout the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, and the Pioneer Valley, in genres that include classical, jazz, pop, Brazilian and Latin.
