About the Program
Spring 2024 Open Rehearsal on January 23rd at 10am! (Free opportunity to meet and greet the band before officially signing up for the program.)
The Pioneer Valley New Horizons Band provides a fun and nurturing social environment in which retired and/or senior adults with little-to-no formal music education can learn a concert band instrument and play ensemble music with their peers. In addition to full band rehearsals, participants are given sectional group instruction by professional musicians from NCMC.

Your Instructor
Nancy Janoson
Nancy Janoson directs the Pioneer Valley New Horizons band at NCMC and is a musician, retired music educator, and writer. She taught overseas for 25 years, sharing her love of music as a band director and choral instructor.
