About the Program

High Definition is a small, welcoming women's choir that performs a cappella music locally. The program provides a community of mutual respect and enjoyment for singers interested in learning a variety of a cappella repertoire. High Definition is looking for singers for the 2023-2024 season who are in the soprano and/or alto range, have basic sight reading skills, are able to hold a part, come to rehearsals and concerts with repertoire prepared, and who have a good sense of humor.

The first rehearsal is free and open to any woman who is interested in joining the group.

Following the first rehearsal on February 9th, an audition is required to become an official member. Membership is a commitment to multiple community performances throughout the year.

Audition information:

  1. Sing the National Anthem: Star Spangled Banner, and Happy Birthday

  2. Sight read simple examples

  3. Sing back simple tonal patterns

(Call NCMC at 413-595-0001 to speak with our registrar and set up an audition.)

Meetings will be held on Fridays from 1:30-3pm
