Monica Robelotto
Piano
Monica Robelotto teaches piano at NCMC. She is also a composer of music that is a blend of classical, jazz and folk music. Her undergraduate degree in Piano Performance and Suzuki Certification are from the Hartt School of Music, and her Master's Degree in Education is from Leslie College. Monica's goals in teaching are to nurture a life long love of music and guide students to their highest potential. Lessons are tailored to fit the needs and interests of her students and also include technique, note reading, theory, ear training, improvisation and performance opportunities. A wide range of materials are used from different styles and periods. Her music has been featured on NPR, Music From The Hearts of Space, Echoes and other national and international radio programs. Monica currently maintains a private studio in Amherst.
