Beginning Music Theory

A Beginning Music Theory class for teens and adults. Students who take private lessons at NCMC can register for this class at no extra charge. All others can register for a nominal fee of $90.

The class will cover:

• Notes and rests, symbols and dynamic markings

• Treble and bass clef, and notes on the staff

• The keyboard

• Time signatures

• Major and minor scales

• Key signatures and the circle of fifths

• Intervals

• Ear training

Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm, beginning January 14th
