Benjamin & Caeil are award-winning twin teen musicians who began their musical studies at NCMC over ten years ago! Each has won the Springfield Youth Orchestra’s concerto competition and been ranked number one in the state on their instrument based on their All-State Music Audition.

Caeil will perform the first movement of the hauntingly beautiful and virtuosic Oboe concerto by Ralph Vaughan-Williams. Caeil will also perform piano music of Debussy, Chopin and other composers.

Benjamin’s performance will include the brilliant first movement of C.M. Weber’s Bassoon concerto in F, opus 75.

This concert will be accompanied by UMass pianist Julian Drummond.
