Katianna Nardone

Violin
Composition

Katianna Nardone is a composer, violinist, and music educator playing in a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, and folk. She earned her B.A. from Amherst College and her M.A. in music composition from Tufts University. Before joining NCMC, she was the director of the Boulanger Orchestra at Boston Music Project and taught violin at El Sistema Somerville. Recognition for Katianna’s compositional work has included the Eric Edward Sundquist Prize, selection as a winner of the Da Camera Singers Young Composers Competition, and participation in the composition workshop at the Women Composers Festival of Hartford.
