Dylan Walter teaches in a range of styles, including jazz, rock, pop, blues, new age, and classical. Since receiving his B.A. in Jazz and African-American Music Studies from Umass Amherst, Dylan has played with numerous local bands and artists, both in live settings and as a session musician. An experienced composer and arranger as well, his musical approach is wide ranging, prioritizing what each student is passionate about and what drives them to learn. Dylan is excited to be at NCMC and is looking forward to sharing his love and admiration of the musical arts.
