Since receiving his M.M. from the Yale School of Music, Andrew Leonard has taught at Wesleyan University, the University of Kentucky (where he ran the guitar program) and the National Guitar Workshop. He received his Suzuki Guitar training at the Hartt School of Music. As a performer, Andrew Leonard has given solo recitals throughout the country, from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine. Andrew has released solo recordings which are played on NPR affiliate stations nationwide, and he has performed and recorded with Grammy Award winner Doug Smith. Andrew Leonard is an endorsee for the D’Addario String company and Northampton menswear shop Jackson & Connor.
