In-kind Gifts

Gift cards in any amount from local or national businesses are a wonderful way to provide a donated item to our annual Silent Auction. They may be mailed to or dropped off at NCMC, 139 South St., Northampton, MA 01060

Pianos:

• In general, NCMC is not able to accept donations of pianos. However, exceptions are made for valuable instruments in exceptional condition. If you have a functional piano that NCMC cannot accept, you can post a flyer on our community board and our staff will alert our piano faculty of its availability.

NCMC is unable to accept the following items:

• Photocopies of sheet music

• Music books that are moldy, torn, or in otherwise poor condition

• Outdated/non-functioning electronics

• Musical instruments that require major repairs

• Housewares/household items

We encourage donors to contact us about intended donation items before bringing them to the Center. All donors receive letters acknowledging their tax-deductible in-kind gifts.

Volunteering

Want to give some of your time? NCMC appreciates helping hands for many activities, including:

• Event assistance

• Flyer distribution

• Handyperson services

• Language translation

• Mailings

• Music library organization
