About the Program

In this six week class, students work on building ease and awareness in order to increase their abilities as a player and performer. In addition, heightened awareness of one's body and its place in space will help to produce a fuller, freer sound, reduce physical tension and increase one's listening potential. With this template, students will become aware of their physical and mental habits and be able to start redirecting their thinking to change unwanted habits. In addition, developing these skills helps to limit the chance of physical injury and lessen performance anxiety.

More information can be found on the official workshop page here, although details differ.

A free, introductory workshop will take place on September 18th from 4:30-6pm. RSVP through our event page (walk-ins also welcome).

Youth (15-18) meetings will be held on Mondays at 4pm.

Adult (18+) meetings will be held on Mondays at 12pm.
