Mara Penatzer

Mara Penatzer teaches piano, composition, and improvisation. In her teaching practice, she values curiosity, deep listening, and supporting students in exploring and expanding their musical interests. She holds a B.M. in Jazz Piano Performance with a minor in Music Theory from the University of North Texas, and a M.M. in Jazz Composition and Arranging from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She performs locally with experimental trio Hedgewitch.
