Evan Arntzen

Evan Arntzen received his B.A. in Jazz Performance from Capilano University in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada, and earned his Master’s degree at Manhattan School of Music, studying privately with Jaleel Shaw and David Krakauer. Evan has more than 15 years teaching experience, working with students of varying levels and genres, from jazz to classical and beyond. He has performed at venues all over the world, including Birdland, the Newport Jazz Festival and many others, and has released three albums as a leader. Evan teaches on the faculty at Harlem School of the Arts and has directed youth shows for Jazz at Lincoln Center.
